The Power of Protest
First off, a disclaimer: having grown up during the volatile 1960s and early 1970s, I have a soft spot in my heart for protestors.
“Class Warfare”? COME ON.
Many of the wealthy earned their millions and billions on the backs of the people who work for them, so since when is it “class warfare” to ask them to give back to the society that supported them?
Where Has Our Civility Gone?
Watching the 9/11 memorials makes me wonder: What happened to post-attack civility on the part of our elected officials, specifically Congress? How are they honoring the victims’ ultimate sacrifice?
